What a wonderful place to relax, You will not hear traffic but you will hear birds. My favorite is the family of Owls that lives in an early twentieth century barn Ross and Kelly discovered this beautiful old barn was about to be torn down in its original location between Medford and Jacksonville OR. They could not stand the thought of this masterpiece being torn down. The knew it had been hand hewn by craftsmen who had no electricity - only timber and axes. It was put together with wooden dowels and hand carved square beams of enormous size. Ross and Kelley asked if they could have the barn and the owner agreed, but gave them a deadline that was very short. The McGarva's and friends gathered over a week end and took the barn apart piece by piece and labeled each piece so the barn could be reassembled exactly as it had been originally. Once down they transported it to their ranch near Lakeview Oregon, where it stands like a mammoth guardian overlooking their land.
