French fries we chose were fresh cut from raw potatoes and were very good in spite of being a little greasy. We suspect the Oil wasn’t quite hot enough. Garden Salad had lots of fresh tomatoes and freshly grated cheddar cheese topping. Salad dressings were standard but were good. We’ll happily go back the next time we’re in town and try another selection which we anticipate will be delicious as well.
Good food and service. Nice lunch & prices reasonable.
Challis served us and was great. Very friendly and nice. Shared her family stories with us and even tried to find the bass fishing spots for my friend and pro. Bass fisherman Dante Ray. Atmosphere at the bar was what to expect, small town feel. We had been working all day and the Eagles Nest was a great place for a late night beer.
Food was very good. Hamburgers were excellent and came with lots of fresh toppings; just the way they were ordered. They each arrived with a steak knife through the center! They were so large/tall it was necessary to hold them together!
On road trip through Lakeview and took a chance. Glad we did, food great, hospitality great, music great. Another road trip coming up in Sept and its on the top of the list.
Busy place! Very friendly waitress even though she was extremely busy. Lounge music in the adjoining room was very loud and unpleasantly carried into the restaurant.
Great service...nice people....the lounge is open at 9a.m. so come down for bloody mary's....they make a good one
